• Responsible for the overall software tracker research for the India market which covers more than 90 markets under IDC taxonomy, and security appliance tracker & security software tracker for APeJC region, this involves: o Market sizing, o Competitive analysis, o Market shares/rankings, o Market Outlook, o Vendor reach out, o Collaboration with various global and country stakeholders, o Dealing with client queries, o Publishing reports backed by data in IDC defined formats, among others.• Lead technology/insights driven discussions with clients and other stakeholders in the ecosystem.• Direct liaison and coordination with clients with respect to research/projects.• Close coordination with the sales teams for content/ Business Development and client management.• Product management/enhancement and new research products conceptualization (over a period of time).• Liaison with other research practices within IDC as and when required to better understand and analyze the overall market ecosystem. Consulting projects• Collaboration with consulting teams on specific projects both regionally and globally.• Contribute as a team member in execution of consulting projects.• Keeping pulse of current industry trends.

Services Tracker• Responsible for tracking & modelling approximately 20 services vendors on a semi-annual basis for Services & AI Trackers.• Research primary and secondary sources (press release, financial reports, websites, growth trends, product classification) of global service vendors, to create a vendor revenue models that map source data to the IDC services taxonomy and update these models on a semi-annual basis.• Interact regularly with IDC WW (World-Wide) and regional analyst to reconcile vendor revenue modelling on semi-annual basis.Services Contract Database• Responsible for entering & valuating a minimum of 30 services deals that map them to IDC services taxonomy into the Services Contracts Database.• Responsible for updating the company profiles & acquisitions for more than 40 vendors part of vendor dashboard.
