A thought leader and a proponent of smart working, I come with 19 years of experience in IT. A large part of my experience is in the area of SAP Data Transformation, interchangeably referred to as data conversion and data migration in which I have played various roles in capacities of consultant, project manager, program manager, subject matter expert, group manager and practice headI started as a software engineer at Bosch in mainframe business solutions for accounts payable and inventory in Oct 2000. By 2003, I was leading teams for implementing business solutions for value added tax, export oriented unit, target pricing, barcode for goods receiving and consignment warehouse. In 2005, I had my foray into SAP as a data transformation consultant in the biggest implementation in India. Between 2007 and 2010, as project manager for data transformation, I helmed a string of successful projects in China, France, Germany, Spain and The Netherlands. In 2010, I became the Data Migration Practice Manager for Bosch worldwide, responsible for governance and execution. I built the data migration factory from scratch and scaled it up to service the needs of Bosch plants worldwide. I held this title for the rest of my tenure at Bosch. In 2013, as Group Leader, I defined managed service processes for data migration so that our offerings were now extended to external customers. I built the first in-house product as an enabler for end to end data migration projects. From 2014 – 2015 as subject matter expert, I oversaw the biggest data transformation projects for third party clients of Bosch. Between 2010 and 2015, my team and I delivered around 200 data migration projects. In 2015-16, I took the role of Transformation and Zero downtime manager for the largest landscape consolidation project at Bosch Germany. In 2017, as Service Delivery Manager, I was in charge of new data migration techniques, Integration testing and business process analysis. In 2017, I took over as the head of data conversion practice, India at Schlumberger in Pune. I built an offsite hybrid captive team from scratch and led the team to its first successful release delivery. In my tenure at Schlumberger, I was highly appreciated for innovative thinking and continuous improvement, defining new ways of working and enabling the team. In Aug 2019, I decided to take a break from my career due to personal reasons. This break has helped me stop to smell the flowers in a manner of saying, reflect internally and reenergize myself to hit the asphalt once again!
