Developed and implemented optimization-based kinematic settling and clearance evaluation algorithm for on-board computation on future rover systems. Demonstrated radical improvement in planning success rate and path generation times over state-of-the-art on-board clearance evaluation techniques in terrains with high rock abundance. Proposed and implemented concept of a deep-learning based Context-Aware Adaptive Policy Selection algorithm that learns to select optimal planners conditioned on context (in this case, rock abundance).

Currently supporting research project on analysis of flow field around moth antennae to understand dynamics of pheromone particle deposition. Modelling flow using commercial package StarCCM+ whilst building tailored model and code using OpenFOAM CFD to capture effects of the sensilla on the phenomenon. Investigating effects of antenna spacing and orientation, and feasibility of incorporating sensilla (significantly lower length scale) into CFD model.

Designed and implemented algorithms for full intelligence pipeline, from apple detection (custom YOLO), mapping and planning for robustness and scalability in unstructured environments.
