Growing up, I would find myself being intrigued by puzzles, calculations, and numbers. The desire to solve complexities grew with me so I decided to use it as an ally in my career and dived straight into taking up chartered accountancy.A great opportunity knocked my door when I started my career by joining PwC in 2008 (where I continued for 13 years). PwC laid the strong foundation for my professional development and growth. I was one amongst a few privileged trainees who got opportunity work directly on transactions and structuring businesses/ entities.Years passed by and I accumulated a wealth of experiences, epiphanies, and valuable learnings which enabled me to specialise as a deal specialist. Over years I have advised clients on business model structuring, group restructuring, due diligence, fundraise, management buy-out, mergers, demergers, repatriation strategy, exits, setting-up of funds, additional return structuring, stock-based compensation.Furthermore, I plunged into the entrepreneurial journey we started Aeka (a people first firm with aspiration to help clients to navigate complex problems and strategic aspects, with agility).On days when I am not in meetings or calls with business owners, you can find me sharing my learning as a passionate educator. I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge as an educator at esteemed institutions such as NLU Bangalore, BMS College For Women and few other institutions.
