I am passionate about building up people, teams, and processes in the information technology space. Currently, I handle enterprise-wide requirements for regulatory reporting from six affiliates to ensure timely delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements by working with leads from 10 workstreams (including five contractor-led efforts) and report weekly progress to the Sr. Director (Data and Analytics) and the CIO.For these initiatives/projects, I create the initial review document, get the statement of work through legal and finance teams, vendor onboarding, invoice management, monitoring the deliverables, and closure. Prior to BHE, at Thermo Fisher Scientific I managed operational aspects of a pod consisting of seven TF resources and 10 vendor resources. I helped the senior leadership with resource planning and onboarding, long-term and short-term work management, coaching on Agile, implementing enhancements, and defining SLA for various issues. This pod supported 300 customer care reps who in turn helped several thousand clients. What made this role exciting is that it gave me an opportunity to work on both the team building/liaising as well as technical challenges of bringing new resources and technologies together and functioning as a team. Even before that, at S&P Global I built up two teams that were in their infancy due to being new to the organization. This role was exciting because it brought both the technical challenges of merging disparate technologies and guiding individuals through the challenges of becoming a team. I love to get to use my deep understanding of databases, business intelligence, technical project management, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, SAFe to guide these teams toward incremental enhancements that create value and quick wins. I am a lifelong learner. In December 2021, I finished my MBA with a GPA of 4.0 and an invitation to join two academic honor societies.Outside of work, I am interested in indoor rowing, martial arts (first-degree black belt in AF Karate), volunteering (for ACP-USA as a coach, InvestWrite as a judge, Gies College of Business as an alumni interviewer), public speaking (president of Toastmaster's club), and playing chess.
