Key Responsibilities & Accountability: -1-Procurement Planning, Scheduling, Inspection & Delivery Monitoring.2-Review & Technical Evaluation of bought out equipment’s offers & technical recommendation.3-To Achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes by establishing Technical Standards, purchasing strategies, Strong relationships with all stakeholders and strategic planning by setting priorities.4-Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.5-Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team to any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.6-SRM / Vendor Management (development and evaluation).7-Contribution in Preparation of Capex, GCI & GCF scheme & actual job monitoring of progress of these scheme, monitoring of expenses & inventory in major overhauling of Machines/Plants.8-Project planning / work, finalize the scope of project, design reviews, Material selection, Vendor/Contractors selection, technical & commercial evaluation of bids etc.8-Ensure compliances of the ISO quality standards & audit.Major Projects Handled: -1-Handled Engineering procurement of more than 150 Crore Rs of Major equipment's like Compressor, Air Dryer, GLR, Agitated Vessel, Heat Ex-changers etc.2-Procurement of Technology Packages like MEE, Scrubbing System, ATFD, STP, ETP, Cooling Towers, Loading Gantry etc .3-Procurement of 100 KL R.O. plant.4- 10 TPD DCNB Project.6- 55 TPD Yarn Production Capacity Green Field Project. Viscose Staple Fiber Quality (Woven to Non- Woven) Conversion Project & Spinning Machine, Dryer & Sulfuric Acid Plant Overhauling project etc.

*Develop, lead, and implement business cost reduction strategies through Sourcing to improve our cost position without sacrificing quality. *Evaluate, coordinate, and support sourcing opportunities. *Support product development and improvement teams by sourcing new technologies from qualified suppliers while leading the qualification process. *Challenge existing suppliers to recommend more cost effective and/or more reliable products that will improve our competitive position. Assist in the evaluation and coordination of these recommendations. *Lead vendor initial qualification through the First Article Process, ensuring vendor products meet legislative, customer, and Company Engineering requirements Once qualified, drive supplier actions to verify part and process quality at the supplier’s location to reduce the need for incoming inspection. *Work with Sourcing, Engineering and Quality to develop procedures and processes to qualify potential suppliers.

*To participate in all firm proposals and support the lead proposal engineer to obtain competitive equipment, fabrication and construction costs that are compliant with requirements. *To review PR's and collate relevant specifications for sending with vendor RFQs. *To work closely with the proposal team to support in preparing MR and contacting suitable vendors. *To seek all inter-department inputs for RFQ of fabrication and construction scope including switchboards, MCCs, control panels, skid packages, site installation etc. *To participate in development of project execution plan and schedule with Operations and Project Team to ensure equipment procurement, fabrication and installation reflect the RFQs. *To prepare technical and commercial clarification post review of vendor quotations to identify third party / subcontract scope of services and obtain proposals from suitable Vendors / Subcontractors. *To evaluate third-party technical and commercial proposal and participate in the negotiation process. *To provide inputs for technical and commercial risk review associated with vendor /subcontractor quotations. *To co-ordinate and prepare response to post bid clarifications. *To liaise and assist in the preparation of handover package to Project Team for the awarded tender and provide support during execution. *Prepare and maintain project preferred vendors and company standard vendor cost data base. *To ensure and maintain confidentiality throughout the process of tender.

*Technical Services & Projects. *Determination of equipment and supplies requirements. *Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers. *Evaluate suppliers based on products, services, and prices. *Negotiate contracts/agreements for purchasing of materials. *Select suppliers & contracts throughout the project. *Assess supplier performance re: quality, cost, delivery, service. *Identify and eliminate waste and/or variability in the supply chain.
