I was born and raised in Beijing, and was accustomed to its fast-paced and opportunity rich environment. My upbringing got me passionate in finding my own place in a vibrant, diverse and closely knitted work environment. I'm interested in jobs in investment banking, risk management, asset management, and equity research.What brought finance and investment high up my list of passions was the 2015 Chinese stock market crash, which is the first time I witnessed the shockwave of a crisis in an intangible market rippled through all facets of the society. Since then I started to look into the financial market, domestic and international, especially the US financial market. Having the inclination to dig deeper in this field and experience a diverse culture, I went to study economics in Georgia Tech. My education there provided me the skills to conduct researches on different industries and financial and capital markets. Most importantly, my love for opportunity and risk was backed by a wide range of skills such as analytical thinking, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling, etc.Moving on, I hope to purse a graduate degree to equip myself with more professional skills and deeper understanding in investment banking and the financial market.
