Supervisor and oversee functions performed by the Freight Team:- Coordination of movement of goods between Warehouse, Freight and Forwarders- Expediting of Shipments - Documentation control ( creations of SLIs and commercial invoice preparations for cross border Shopping)- Liasing with Freight Forwarders ( load planning and timeliness collections from warehouse)- Verifying carrier Invoices - Compiling of data on a Shipping Register ( Auditing purposes)- Filing Customs queriesVOC's to be issued ( voucher of correction)Freight spend control:- Accounts Payable and Receivables are controlled and managed - Duty Calculations - Financial and exceptional ReportsManage Inbound and Outbound POD processes to ensure all PODs captured on time Resolve any outstanding and aging POD queriesAssist to clear or investigate Goods-in-TransitAssist the Global Freight and Indirect purchasing team in tender processes by providing input on requirements for the relevant regions.Assist with Tarriff code classification
