Kehrt Reyher is Director of Development and, along with his wife Marzenna, co-founder of The Naklo Foundation (www.naklofoundation.org), and is active in the industrial hemp industry via HempToday.net. The Foundation also runs a hospitality business from its headquarters in The Palace at Naklo, located in south central Poland. Reyher was a founder and served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Warsaw-based B2B information company VFP Communications until 2011. He spent 15 years in the newspaper industry in the United States before moving to Poland in 1992 to work as a media consultant. He started VFP in 1993 with the launch of Media Polska, the first post-revolution marcom magazine in Poland. The Reyhers sold the publishing company to Deutscher Fachverlag of Frankfurt in 2008.His career included stints as Page One Designer at the Providence (RI) Journal, Assistant Business Editor at The Detroit News and on the "Money" copy desk at USA Today. During Reyher's tenure at The Detroit News (1987-1992), the Reyhers became active in Michigan Polish-American affairs, launching "The Eagle," one of the first Polish-U.S. business newsletters to be published after the political changes of 1989. They were also the hosts of "Polish Echoes" on Radio WPON in Pontiac, Michigan, for two years.The Reyhers left the USA in 1992 to join the pioneering foreign media entrepreneurs who entered Poland shortly after the market opened in the early 1990s.
