As a donut slinger, I am the vanguard of the donut shop. It is my job and my pleasure to serve customers donuts and make them laugh while doing so. I provide exquisite customer service, adding in a splash of humanity to patrons' days. And while it's true that anyone can serve donuts, it takes a special someone to bring joy into each customer's interaction. Not to mention that if I could get them laughing enough, they would buy more donuts than originally intended. My experience here has helped me hone my interaction with customers and clients, as well as be able to handle a plethora of tasks simultaneously.

Currently the only student trained to use the risograph, I am the manager and print maker of our school. I am constantly teaching myself more and more about this machine. In addition to preparing and printing student work, I also offer help and guidance with file setup and project ideas. While maintaining and running the machine, I reach out to professors and students alike to get more people using our risograph.

I led a two-person team to create a brochure and rack card for a nonprofit group, the Extreme History Project. This organization works to educate people about the obscured aspects of history, such as bringing to light the marginalized people in history. Our work involved getting to know our clients needs and rebranding their visual assets. I was tasked with accompanying the head designers to client meetings, taking notes as well as offering questions, ideas, and feedback. Additionally, I helped code a new menu system for a clients e-commerce site as well as updated the look and feel of feedback forms. I helped to redesign and convert a client site to a mobile platform. After the internship ended, I was hired to do a few weeks worth of freelance work for the studio.
