My goal is to create beautiful, bizarre art that forces people to feel things, to confront beliefs, and to make them say, "huh?" Though I am confused a lot of the time, there is one thing I understand, and that's people. I enjoy getting to know folks, find out what makes them tick and what makes them smile. I try to bring this touch of humanity into my work and my practice to forge a deeper and more meaningful experience for all.I believe that design can be a tool used for good. I want to master this tool of visual creation to help make the world a better place. I hope to use my skills for Transgender Liberation and the liberation of poor people in America. Whether that means using my skills to lift the voices of those who need to be heard, or to bring a smile to someone's face through a picture, I create to bring joy to myself and to others.

It is my job and my pleasure to serve customers donuts and make them laugh while doing so. I provide exquisite customer service, adding in a splash of humanity to patrons' days. And while it's true that anyone can serve donuts, it takes a special someone to bring joy into each customer's interaction. Not to mention that if I could get them laughing enough, they would buy more donuts than originally intended. My experience here has helped me hone my interaction with customers and clients, as well as be able to handle a plethora of tasks simultaneously.

I am constantly teaching myself more and more about this machine. In addition to preparing and printing student work, I also offer help and guidance with file setup and project ideas. While maintaining and running the machine, I reach out to professors and students alike to get more people using our risograph. -
Lead DesignerThe Extreme History Project Sep 2017 - Dec 2017Greater Boston Area; Bozeman, MtI led a two-person team to create a brochure and rack card for a nonprofit group, the Extreme History Project. This organization works to educate people about the obscured aspects of history, such as bringing to light the marginalized people in history. Our work involved getting to know our clients needs and rebranding their visual assets. InternInitial Design Group Mar 2015 - May 2015Greater Boston AreaI was tasked with accompanying the head designers to client meetings, taking notes as well as offering questions, ideas, and feedback. Additionally, I helped code a new menu system for a clients e-commerce site as well as updated the look and feel of feedback forms. I helped to redesign and convert a client site to a mobile platform. After the internship ended, I was hired to do a few weeks worth of freelance work for the studio.
