I am currently working as regional treasury analyst in General Electric / Global Operations for MENAT & SSA region, responsible for the following:• Monitoring standalone accounts for MENAT & SSA region to ensure that all countries /legal entities are sufficiently funded to cover payroll, legal, banks and AP commitments.• Providing quarterly operational forecast vs actual cash reconciliations • Identifying cross-border cash repatriation opportunities, including but not limited to quarter-end cash sweep, dividends and loans.• Producing monthly volume/transaction statistics for management information.• Consolidating short-term and long-term cash forecast on monthly / quarterly basis.• Maintaining adequate liquidity for all funds under my management• Funding the accounts that face cash squeeze due to vendor, tax, bank's obligations whether through intercompany loans, capital injection or bank facilities while preparing all the needed documentations/ loan agreements till final execution. • Tenor Matching to ensure the best use of fund and avoiding vendors/overdrawn bank penalties for all MENAT accounts.• Identifying investment opportunities incase of cash surplus and negotiating rates with all banks In the region to ensure best use of resources.• Performing regular review for all bank account balances for the purposes of cash-on-hand reporting, forecasting and liquidity management.
