CurrentI was recruited to help the new ownership team transform and recreate the entire organization. I execute trade shows and events for thousands of clients annually, including high-end events and experiences for the State Department, DNC, and Fortune 50 clients. We have managed/produced every inauguration since 1946. I oversee Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing, Legal, Contracting, and Inventory Control. I also led 6 consecutive months of record-breaking year-over-year margin improvements, varying from 500 BPS to over 1.2K BPS, prior to the onset of COVID-19.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Led COVID-19 rapid response team. Met with 20+ C-level executives to restructure payables response; re-budgeted entire year down to the week to manage cash flow; ran all requisitions through me to control company’s commitments.► Assembled High-Performance Leadership Team – Replaced 80% of Department’s Leadership Team, recruiting transformational leaders to execute a turnaround vision.► Reduced financial close time from 60 days to 4 days – Introduced optimized financial reporting tools and solutions to automate and streamline monthly reporting and close processes.► Delivered over $5M in tax credits – Implemented R&D tax credit process to secure savings.► Led $2M ERP implementation – Transformed reporting capabilities, taking 11 systems down to 3 and redefined core accounting functions, injected automation, and bolstered business intelligence and reporting.► Established first FP&A organization – Organized the first business process committee and transitioned the focus to long term strategic planning.► Optimized A/P overhead costs by 40% – Led fully integrated and A/P automation project.► Successfully executed company sale process to Private Equity-backed multibillion-dollar corporation.
