    As a dedicated project manager at the Asian Institute of Technology Testing Laboratory , I had the opportunity to establish a state-of-the-art test laboratory for prefabricated domestic wastewater treatment products. This included building capacity of local partners regarding DEWATS approaches, developing procedures of operation and maintenance as well as guidelines for design and construction.I also played a key role in transferring knowledge of conducting a feasibility study, developing a preliminary design, developing a detailed engineering design and bill of quantities, construction supervision and post-construction monitoring of DEWATS to partners’ engineers. This included providing training, mentoring, and hands-on experience to local engineers and technicians.Furthermore, I had the opportunity to up-scale network as well as provide water and sanitation related expertise to donor agencies in the Philippines such as ADB, FAO-LEAD, GTZ, USAID and World Bank. This included creating and maintaining a project database management system to ensure accurate and timely tracking of project progress.These experiences allowed me to develop strong skills in project management, capacity building, and technical knowledge in sustainable sanitation, as well as gain a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the field of sustainable sanitation in the Philippines
