Operations And Marketing DirectorPost Automotive Care Aug 2019 - PresentCape Town Area, South AfricaPOST AUTOMOTIVE CARE was founded on the idea to reduce environmental impact by rather repairing motor vehicle windscreens instead of replacing the windscreen at will.Today’s top windscreen replacement (seldom repair) companies derive high profit margins from ignoring windscreen chips that are “to small” to repair, yet is actually at a high risk of cracking , and replacing windscreens with chips that “can’t be fixed” but in reality can be repaired with a high rate of success. This current ‘game’ has had a massive effect on the environment as (1) windscreens are not recycled and (2) windscreen replacement jobs having a carbon intensity of 5 times larger than a windscreen repair job, thus contributing to the serious threat of Global Warming. It’s with this information on hand, that Post Automotive Care was established. A company that Cares for their customers and will add more value to service centers, pre-owned dealerships and fleet companies around South Africa. A company that Cares by giving back to the environment in two ways. Firstly, by repairing windscreens that have been deemed by the so-called professionals, as windscreens that need to be replaced. Saving at the landfills and in reducing the auto glass industries carbon footprint. PAC will save close to 1 000 000 kg’s of CO2 per yearA second way that Post Automotive Care gives back to the environment is by planting 1 tree for every 250 repairs we do - PAC estimates to plant close to 200 trees before the end of 2019.This is just the start of Post Automotive Care’s story; we hope that you will follow us as we go out to change the game. -

Responsible for all final handover documentation for MC, RFC and RFO as required by CommissioningOversight (CTF) ExpansionTengizchevroil (TCO), a joint venture partnership of Chevron, ExxonMobil, KazMunaiGas and LukArco, decided to upgrade and expand the Crude Tank Farm (CTF) at its Tengiz field facilities. The Tengiz field is one of the world’s 10 largest oilfields. The existing tank farm is largely composed of decades-old smaller tanks built during the former Soviet era. The proposed CTF facilities consisted of two very large crude oil storage tanks, the largest of which has a diameter of 200 feet and is 60 feet high, two smaller crude tanks, a firewater tank, and associated facilities such as manifolds, pump stations, and piping. The site’s major geotechnical challenge was the 10- to 15-foot thick shallow layer of soft, compressible marine deposits that are prone to large settlement under applied load. TCO’s goal is to significantly expand its crude exports from the Caspian Sea area by creating a larger, more reliable crude oil storage complex that can be constructed with local expertise. -
Owners Quality EngineerSasol Jan 2006 - Jul 2006Secunda South AfricaOwners Engineer responsible for quality related activities on expansion project PP2OversightDuring 2004 South Africa's Sasol won final board approval to invest in excess of R13bn ($2.1bn) to build a number of new production plants. The new capacity included ethylene and propylene output from a selective catalytic cracker (SCC) located in Secunda, South Africa. This unit began operation during the first quarter of 2006. It met initial operational requirements began beneficial operation in January 2008.Along with the cracker is 220,000tpa of low-density polyethylene (ldPE), located in Sasolburg and 300,000tpa of polypropylene (PP), located in Secunda and slated to come on stream in 2007. The ldPE plant is also called Poly 3 as it Sasol's third polyethylene plant in Sasolburg. This unit was commissioned at the end of 2005. The PP plant was commissioned in July 2008.The plants were part of an investment, known as Project Turbo in which Sasol upgraded and built new capacity to meet South African government targets for introducing lead-free petrol and low-sulphur diesel. The SCC was shutdown and refurbished in late 2009 to optimise its monomer production. The cracker was operating at lower rates than its design capacity. The refurbishment increases the monomer yield of SCC to about 80%. The monomer is supplied as feedstock to downstream polypropylene and polyethylene units. -
