Cynthia Hendrickson is the Founder of Directed Genomics. Under Hendrickson’s lead, Directed Genomics evaluates, develops, optimizes, and validates, new technologies and methods, confidentially and quickly, extending the capabilities of its’ various clients.Hendrickson specializes in the development of novel next-generation genomic solutions for translational, clinical, and agricultural applications and has held scientific leadership roles with a focus on driving the development of innovative products for genomic technologies, including the development of the SOLiD sequencing chemistry at Agencourt and creating the NEBNext product line at New England Biolabs.Hendrickson holds an MBA from MIT and a Ph.D. in Medical Science from University of Florida College of Medicine. In addition, she has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, and authored patents covering applications ranging from target enrichment to sequencing chemistries.
