Magn is the former Shell Faroe Islands. The company employs 140 persons. Magn has a turnover of between 700-950 mio DKK. Magn imports, stocks, sells, and distributes al kinds of oil and oil related to industry, automotive, and private heating customers around the Faroe Islands. In addition, Magn sells all kinds of oils to international shipping customers from countries like Russia, UK, Denmark, Greenland, US, and Norway. This in competition with oil companies in mainly Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Scotland. Furthermore Magn owns and operates retail stations in the Faroe Islands.

The company is active in the B2B and B2C markets in Iceland and the Faroe Islands, importing, selling, and distributing ship bunkers, diesel, gasoline, chemicals, fertilizers, and convenience retail products. Skeljungur owns bunker facilities in both Iceland and in the Faroe Islands, and is also active in other North Atlantic regions in ship bunkers trading and cargo deliveries. Skeljungur operates 76 retail stations in Iceland and the Faroe Islands under the brand names Orkan and Magn. Skeljungur also owns the bunkers barge Barkur.
