I am an experienced programmer in Windows operating systems. Languages include but are not limited to C#, VC++, and VB. Created numerous multilayered and multithreaded programs, WCF and COM interfaces, and reusable DLLs. Interfaced with SQL and Access databases. Development platforms include Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 and its predecessors. I have utilized TFS and MTM to manage the development and testing process. I am also experienced in hardware interface design to control X-Ray generators, video imaging hardware, navigation systems, and various test equipment modules.Strengths: I’m capable of learning new platforms and languages rapidly. I create user friendly GUI that simplifies operation and data entry. I’m good at taking the user’s perspective when creating programs which results in simple to use software. I always anticipate growth of the program, which translates to the use of small, expandable modules at design inception. I consider installation, configuration, logging, and error handling during the design phase of the project. I also have a hardware background which helps when called upon to control a hardware device through software.
