My joy in life comes from spending time with my family, researching, learning, teaching, and applying the principals of integrating Financial Coaching and Financial Planning. My happy place is, when I am, Training and Coaching Financial Planners to integrate Financial Coaching as part of their client engagement and advice process. This enables them to support clients to enjoy the life they want with the money they have.My 30-year career journey in the insurance industry started as a planner then evolved to executive management, managing large scale projects. Currently, I enjoy being back in the trenches. Working alongside planners and clients, to test and apply my learning. Financial Coaching combines, my financial planning experience with 15-years of coaching involvement. This enables me, to share and coach, planners in a pragmatic way. Our unique Purpose-Driven Financial Coaching Process integrates Ontological Coaching (a branch of philosophy that studies existence, being, and becoming) and Life Planning (Financial planning focusing on the client's purpose, story and life.)My academic qualifications include a CFP® and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (University of the Free State.) I obtained my Professional Integral Coaching qualification from the Centre for Coaching (University of Cape Town, Business School.) I am a member of three professional bodies: Financial Planning Institute, COMENSA and American Financial Therapy Association.My offering to the world is developing and delivering Financial Coaching to enable clients to live the life they want with the resources they have. Delivering this in three ways:• Accredited Financial Coach Training for financial Planners• Financial Wellness training to employees• Financial Coaching to a limited number of clientsWhen I am not pursuing my Financial Coaching career and hobby, I enjoy browsing through cookbooks, and experimenting with different food cultures, to the amazement and sometimes dismay of my family. I am an amateur permaculture vegetable gardener. My dream escape? Watching travel shows and dreaming of the different destinations on my wish list. This feeds my inspiration for my next foodie experience, that I create in our own home. And I enjoy engaging with people. I try to live my life as an artist, alchemist and archer.
