Project & Change Manager

Palma, Autonomous Community Of Balearic Islands, Spain

Add Value is a recruitment company that works location-independent, across 6 countries.I took this opportunity for a short-term project in order to optimize the back-office structure and facilitate growth. I was responsible for all change processes and internal adoption, with the aim of increasing efficiency in all administrative and back office processes, with a main focus on the CRM. I also ensure tools such as online interview scheduling became available to clients. After noticing that the CRM was not used in its full potential I started updating and implementing cross functional processes that focused on effectiveness. I set up an automated invoicing process that decreased time to process from 1.5 days to 2 hours.

Manager Sales And Marketing Operations

Pollença, Autonomous Community Of Balearic Islands, Spain

Wicked Ice is a start-up based in Mallorca, Spain and creates alcoholic ice creams for the B2B market.Together with my team I was responsible for Sales support and -enablement as well as executing the Marketing strategy of Wicked Ice. As part of this role I've had the opportunity, in collaboration with the company owners, to put together all the processes related to Sales and Sales Operations. The focus was to automate processes where possible, while ensuring quality service for our clients. Due to the Covid outbreak I was not able to have direct face to face meetings with the team. This was challenging because I aimed to keep all stakeholders involved in this process, therefore a lot of back and forth communication was required, that I initiated. In a period of 4 months, I finalised 10 processes and implemented them in the CRM. The result was a system ready to be used by the team and clients for self-service and making orders.

Retail Sales Strategy & Product Development Manager

Zürich Area, Switzerland

Hotelbeds is an online B2B distributor of tourism services (hotels, in-destination activities, airport transfers) to over 60k clients worldwide.I was responsible for the development of the Retail Sales strategy. One of my biggest projects was to integrate a small scale client loyalty program, originally designed for GTA, into a complex rewards scheme that would reach thousands of clients for the new organisation. Within 6 months I designed a detailed rewards system and collaborated with the Marketing team to present a business case to the board that succeeded to receive a significant budget. As a result, we were able to onboard the majority of our clients.I also put together a Sales strategy for the China Sales team, exploring the specific challenges the differences in technology and culture bring. I identified some quick fixes, such as translations of hotel addresses into Chinese and different filters to enhance our website and stimulate bookings. Finally, I launched Flights as a new product to several pilot markets, determining the best way to quickly release a pilot on a limited budget. We were able to launch to 100 pilot clients within 4 months and started receiving bookings on the launch day.

Senior Project Manager - Business Development

Gta

Zürich Area, Switzerland

GTA was an online B2B distributor of tourism services (hotels, in-destination activities, airport transfers) and was taken over by Hotelbeds in 2017.As a member of the Business Transformation team I was part of the Project Management Organisation supporting GTA's ambitious growth plans. I managed several of the workstreams, supporting them in achieving their targets and I was responsible for communicating progress of all workstreams to the wider company. I worked with our Operations team in reducing their cost by 15% by outsourcing tasks to an external provider. I also worked with Technology and Product Management on streamlining their processes and increase their output pace, delivering smaller features and products at a time, but at a higher frequency. As a result we hit our turnover target for the year.

Senior Project Manager - Sourcing Strategy

Gta

Zürich Area, Switzerland

As Senior Project Manager Sourcing Strategy I worked on projects to support the worldwide sourcing organization within GTA. My focus was mainly on large scale projects with a big technical component.During this time I led the cross-functional integration project of a large third party supplier of hotels into GTA's systems. This enabled GTA to make an additional 80'000 hotels available to their customers at at approximately 30% of cost, compared to regular sourcing. The second main project I led during this time was the integration with the Bokun platform, which enables GTA to store all the supplier contracts for Tours and Activities (also known as Destination Services) on a modern platform with extended capabilities, allowing suppliers more freedom in setting up their contracts and managing these contracts directly. I handed this project over to Product Management when starting my new role in the Business Transformation team.

The Chamber of Commerce for Amsterdam, the regional representative organization for the private business sector, is the country's largest Chamber with over 200.000 companies on its register. The Project team manages internal and local projects for improving the economic climate for groups of entrepreneurs in the Amsterdam metropolitan area. Aligning entrepreneurs, local governments and other stakeholders, leading the project from planning to execution. During my time at the Chamber of Commerce I managed 20+ big and small projects. I've looked at the possibility of setting up free WiFi in the public areas of tourist town Zandvoort, bringing together stakeholders such as the municipality and tourism board to find an attractive and affordable solution.I've also worked with companies in the metal industry to gather their requirements for moving to a joint location, which could create synergies for the entrepreneurs. A suitable location was found and the entrepreneurs moved within 6 months. In order to showcase our projects to the entrepreneurs in the Amsterdam region during our New Year event, I took the responsibility of creating an attractive brochure with highlights of our 2012 accomplishments.

Executive Reports Services

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

GRI is an NGO created by the UN with a mission to establish sustainability reporting within organizations. I joined the team as an intern, because I share their vision of corporate responsibility. While I was there, I noticed that the company website was not well structured and the content was not capturing our mission and hard work. I took the initiative to analyse all the tasks my team was responsible for in order to capture the essence of what we offer. Then I re-wrote the website’s content in such a way that we noticed an increase in engagement from our virtual visitors. I left this role to advance my career in Project Management.
