my responsibilities included client relations as well as project management of several Federal Government Projects. Projects included work with the Library of Congress, The Delaware and Maryland National Guard, Fort Myer, Arlington Cemetery, The Corps of Engineers, Homeland Security and the US Army. The work with the Corps of Engineers included several Reserve Centers that were designed as a result of BRAC legislation. Projects in Fort Sill, OK and Vancouver, WA consisted of the preparation of RFP packages while the facility in Dodge City, KS required full Architectural and Engineering Services.

Management of several Projects simultaneously, coordination of staff resources and profitability monitoring of the architectural staff. As a member of the management committee of the A/E Division I also contribute to the overall management of the Division. My responsibilities have also included the role of Client Sponsor for the Fort Myer Military Community, including Fort Myer, Fort McNair and Arlington National Cemetery. Marketing efforts resulted among others in the award of several 7Eleven Convenience Stores and the Design Build award of a Dog Kennel Project at Fort Myer.

During my almost 20 years with the company I have been the responsible Project Architect for a number of Open End Contracts with the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Navy and many private clients. Responsibilities included Code Analysis, Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Specification Writing and Engineering Coordination.
