As an intern in the Local Government Finance department at the DPRD Kabupaten Semarang, I have been involved in various tasks and responsibilities related to the financial planning process in a government institution. Working alongside the financial treasurer, I have gained insights into how the financial system operates in a government institution. During my internship at the Semarang District DPRD, my main responsibilities include inputting administrative and financial data into a system called SIPD. This involves preparing accountability letters, accountability reports, Payment Request Letters, and Payment Order Letters. I have also been involved in inputting budget realization data into Microsoft Excel, as well as creating a general cash book using Microsoft Excel.Throughout my internship at the Semarang District DPRD, I have had the opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of the accounting processes used in a government institution. I have also gained insights into the systems implemented in local government institutions.
