Henk Top (1967) is a specialist in gas testing (e.g. odorisation, black powder and safety) and analysis (e.g. gas chromatography, differential mobility detection and mass spectrometry), with experience in the field of natural gases, biogas, LNG, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, refinery gas, exhaust gases and indoor air quality. He started his career in 1990 while he was working at the R&D department of N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie. In the early nineties, he did research and development of NOx reduction techniques for domestic and industrial gas-fired burners. From 1995 - 2005 he did many studies and measurements used for emission reduction and energy efficiency projects at agricultural and industrial production sites in the Netherlands.Henk became a national, independent, specialist for CO2 fertilization systems in green houses using natural gas engines and catalyst systems (DeNOx and oxidation catalyst).He has skills in ISO 17025 accreditation (auditor), predictive emission monitoring (chairman of NEN - NTA 7379 - Guidelines 'Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems'), odor reduction of natural gas spark ignition engines (inventor of odor catalyst system), footprint reduction and CO2 and NOx emission trade protocols.Since 2005 senior specialist gas testing and analysis for pipeline quality control and gas processing of natural gases, LNG, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and biogas (physical properties, hydocarbon dewpoint, sulfur content, odorisation, black powder, purity, etc.).
