Intersoftware is 80% owned by ING and I did a short term assigment:- Intermediary leadership (team) role at Intersoftware Holding (software company, offering mortgage advice software, ~60% market share, ~50 employees), key strategic asset of ING, important lever to gain market share and reduce costbase- My role was threefold: (i) ensure smooth transition of ISH’ key product (Adviesbox) from an on premise solution to cloud solution, (ii) ensure embedding of ING Risk and Compliance framework into this small company, (iii) build overall strategic roadmap, build capabilities to deliver this roadmap and accelerate the delivery

• I managed (during several months) a taskforce of ~110 employees who checked and when necessary repaired over 30.000 customer files. • As a result - for the SME stream - the very ambitious deadline of 1/12/2013 was met with a clean archive for more than 98% of all files and the very stern requirements of the Central Bank were also met (securing the licence to operate).

IBIS UvA is a consultancy firm focus on process and organisation improvement (Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Operational Management and Kaizen). I was responsible for:• Setting up LSS programmes/team in close cooperation with clients.• Giving training to more than 300 LSS Blackbelts and Greenbelts in the Netherlands Nederland and abroad (Europe / USA), incl. development of training curricula.• Coaching of Blackbelts to become Master Blackbelt / LSS trainer and leading/coaching junior colleagues to become Master Blackbelt.Clients include ABN AMRO, AEGON, NN, Getronics, Philips, Post NL and Wolters Kluwer. ResearcherAcquired a PhD with a thesis on the effectiveness of Lean Six Sigma. This resulted in more than 10 publications, among which two books on Lean Six Sigma for a wider audience (“Lean Six Sigma in Services and Healthcare” and “Lean Six Sigma step by step”).
