I am a Resident Engineer at BVi Group, a leading consulting engineering and project management company in South Africa. With over 24 years of civil engineering and project management experience, I have been involved in various infrastructure projects across the country, ranging from roads and stormwater to water and sanitation systems. Currently, I am responsible for overseeing the construction of civil infrastructure on the Ummbila Emoyeni wind energy facility in Mpumalanga.My core competencies include inspecting works for compliance and quality assurance, implementing contract documentation and specifications, designing roads, stormwater, and sewer infrastructure, collecting and analysing information, budgeting and monitoring projects, compiling technical and progress reports, and managing multi-disciplinary teams. I am proficient in civil engineering design software, such as Roadmate, Pipemate, Surfmate, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, as well as Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as MS Projects, MS Word, and MS Excel. I am a registered Professional Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa. I have excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills. I am passionate about applying my engineering knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of sustainable civil engineering projects.
