Immigrating to Australia in early 2015, I secured a post as a Project Manager for DM Civil. While there, I gained valuable experience managing large sub-division projects; delivering two such projects in my relatively short tenure. PROJECT MANAGEMENT◘ Overseeing construction managers and site supervisors◘ Ensuring quality standards are met, with all orders and works compliant with tender specifications◘ Managing the acquisition of plant machinery and mobile equipmentFrom my previous experiences within project management roles, I fully understand the need to maintain good working relationships. Throughout the project timeline I liaise with client representatives, managers and other key stakeholders – ensuring successful project completion and forging new industry contacts.

Oversee site management of contracts. This includes attending of Site Meetings, Supervision of cost control, quality & quantity control. Ensure planning is adhered to. Tasks relating to this are:Identifying prospective tenders. Organising site inspections to be attended by senior site staff. Studying tender documents and drawings and special conditions of contract. Re-calculating and checking of quantities in the Bills of Quantities in tender documents from the drawings issued with tender documents. Obtain quotes and negotiate better terms from prospective suppliers to the project. Pricing of the tender. Proposing, discussing and finalizing tender rates with Managing Director and Estimating Director.Complete all relevant documentation including program and submit the conforming bid
