Oil well pumping and gas well deliquification.We have developed and extensively tested a rod less, closed loop hydraulic operated, downhole pump in close cooperation with an Australian operator. Cofounded the company, and inventor of the two game changing technologies ZipLog (Z-system) and MagLev.ZipLog is a well intervention method based on pushing a semi stiff, spoolable, carbon rod into wellbores for logging, etc. This system is commercialised by Ziebel (Stavanger, Norway) and is used offshore the North Sea, onshore the Middle East and USA.MagLev is a new electrical downhole pump solution based on permanent magnet motors. That pump system is today commercialised by the company ZiLift (Aberdeen, Scotland).

We started this as Lasalle Pressure Data AS. That was the foundation for today´s reservoir monitoring section in Roxar, plus Seawell's wireline department. Also we founded Exal IPR in Aberdeen, which in the end became Baker´s Production Quest.

Where I learned about wellbores, offshore production, reservoir drainage, and much more. Fantastic 6 years, with a lot of great colleagues!Did wireline, well completions and well testing. First to deploy electronic downhole memory gauges. First electric line surface readout gauge system surveys.
