I am a former marketer with a longing for making stuff, not only talking about or selling them. When I was first tasked with creating a company website, my direction was set! What followed was several years mostly configuring in content management systems and portal servers, although adding on to this with HTML and web design plus SQL and database knowledge.With this, my low-code journey started pre-2010 when I made my first true business app for production line stoppage registration using Oracle DB, stored procedures and SAP Visual Composer. Shortly after this my Microsoft Journey started with SharePoint 2010, and I have not looked back!Although loving the options I had with SharePoint (and SharePoint Designer!), it was not until the birth of Power Apps and Power Automate that I again felt that I had the tools I needed for building business solutions, extending SharePoint with low-code options.Now I have spent the last half decade focusing specifically on introducing and managing the Power Platform in Yara International. My role has been varied, and I have gladly spent my days doing all of: Application development, Power Platform administration and Governance, Citizen dev community building, Training and Adoption, Monitoring and apps and flows lifecycle management, etc. etc.The platform is now widely used in the company and I work with supporting citizen developers as well as receiving and delivering on requests for business apps and automation developments. We make use of the full stack of tools in the platform and I have solid knowledge of: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, CoPilot Studio, AI Builder, Power Platform Admin Centre, Power Platform Centre of Excellence solutions, etc.,, etc.
