This website uses a bespoke plugin to hold variables once and use them throughout the site, such as the number of test passes, committee member details etc. It allows members of the public book a free taster session online. I designed and developed the Alderton Church (www.saintmargaretschurch.co.uk) site, which went live in 2017. I have trained the church warden so they can now populate the site with no intervention from myself. It has a flexible underlying structure to enable the church warden create new church service types, church service colour schemes, rota types etc without recourse to me. I have designed and developed a website for the Alderton Art Festival (www.aldertonartfestival.co.uk). In 2020 the Art Festival went online, and I developed the site to enable online viewing and purchasing of over 300 paintings. The festival ran for six weeks and via the site sold 40 paintings and 21 greeting cards. The screens have been hidden now so no-one tries to purchase any of the paintings! I co-ordinate the annual Northamptonshire County Schools Challenge. Pupils need to identify an innovative solution (product or service) to a social problem. Each year we choose a different social problem to be addressed e.g., stop cyber bullying and improve e-safety, alcohol abuse, hate crime.Pupils develop their solution to the social issue, creating a business plan to support their idea. The winning team from each school attend our two day semi-finals and World of Work Experience, with the top eight being selected to represent their schools in our Grand Final, a Dragon's Den style event where they present their idea, and business plan.My role is to engage the Schools, school liaison officers, organise workshops, organise the two-day semi-finals and 'world of work experience', organise the Dragons Den Grand Final (including booking the theatre, creating the programme, identifying and booking the Dragons, organising speakers/presenters etc), organising business support for the schools during their internal competition, and deal with such things as sponsorship, prizes, goody bags, general logistics etc. I also undertake the post event evaluation based on the student and teacher feedback forms.As part of the off-curriculum Challenge events, I am part of the small group providing business support and advice to over 250 year 7/8/9 children while they develop and work up their ideas and produce a business case.I have designed posters for schools, all sorts of forms such as entry forms, the event programme, and evaluation forms.
