I served as the Sustainability Manager at Fazer Bakery where I had the privilege of overseeing sustainability efforts in Finland, Sweden, and the Baltics. In this role, a major part of my responsibilities revolved around Sustainability Controlling. I developed reporting processes, analyzed sustainability data, and created sustainability reporting tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively monitor our progress.As part of my role, I was responsible for managing the Bakery BA Sustainability Long-Term Plan (LTP) model. This involved driving initiatives to reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions, and food loss. Additionally, I took the lead in the Climate Data & Systems stream for grain and flour procurement, where I successfully established climate analytics capabilities to meet Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets. Furthermore, I enhanced our Scope 3 emissions accounting practices to ensure comprehensive reporting.One of the highlights of my time at Fazer Bakery was leading a cross-functional sustainability team in the Fazer Bakery Finland BU. Together, we focused on various sustainability aspects, including waste reduction, sustainable energy practices, sustainable products and packaging materials, the Fazer Grain Vision, and social responsibility. I fostered a collaborative and motivated work environment, encouraging coordination and cooperation among team members to achieve our sustainability goals.Overall, my experience in this role has strengthened my expertise in Sustainability Controlling, project management, and team leadership. I'm proud of the positive impact we made on the sustainability performance of Fazer Bakery.

As a Business Controller for key accounts Kesko and SOK in the Bakery Finland Business Unit, I made a significant impact on the organization's success.
