With reference to CTO, my primary task was to secure continuous and improved delivery pipeline of IT services during a potentially large expansion to the American market. As the local platform for recruitment was inadequate, it was decided to establish a near-shore department in Ukraine as a supplement to the existing Danish department. The implementation and management of this fell under my responsibility.I introduced kanban to meet the increased demand from the American marked on faster deliveries. In a short while there was a demand for heighten the quality of the Ukrainian deliveries. Therefore, I restructured the scrum teams to virtual teams across the two locations, established a QC-link in the process, and started sending Danish key developers to Ukraine.
