BA-Solution was the engineering, cooling and process part of the One GEA organization from 2015 2020 and was designing and selling production plants for the dairy, beverage, brewery, food & food ingredient, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. I was responsible for global marketing for BA-Solution including managing a 20 people department of marketing professionals located globally. The activities in my field of responsibility are the complete marketing mix like PR, internet(supporting the GEA website), advertising, exhibition activities, video & animation projects. Furthermore taking care of the marketing stream of M&A projects was a part of my responsibility.

Process Engineering was the engineering part of the old Segment based GEA organization and was developing designing and selling production plants for the dairy, beverage, brewery, food & food ingredient, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. GEA Process Engineering was the world leader in industrial processing within the above industries. I was reporting to the President of the GEA Process Engineering Segment and I was responsible for global marketing, external communication and market intelligence. The activities in my field of responsibility is divided between a central department which are responsible for global marketing, business development support activities, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, customer intelligence, M&A analysis, PR, Internet(including SEO & SEM), external communication and approx. globally placed local marketing departments which took care of the local marketing activities.

APV is today a part of the US based company SPX.The job as International Marketing Manager for APV Fluid Handling was my first management position. The company is today a part of the German company Baader.I was responsible for the German speaking part of Europe where I was involved in direct sales of machinery to the food industry. The job included direct customer contact, customer visits, sales and project management. Also the participation in trade shows was a part of the job.
