Development of the Danish plans for establishing a number of energy island for large scale offshore wind development with focus on the artificial energy island in the North Sea.Focus has been on developing af shared owner structure for the energy island in the North Sea between the Danish State and a private partner (PPP) and a tender process covering both the planning, construction and operation of the island.The work both covering supporting political decisions, developing the legal on financial framework for the island as well as the tender process and tender documents along with external technical, legal and financial advisors.

Centre for Global CooperationI have the responsiblity for supporting the development of policies, legal frameworks and practical climate finance schemes and instruments for supporting a green transition of the energy supply for the Danish GtG cooperation for a number of countries including China, USA, Ethiopia and Vietnam among others.Specifically issues:- The development of a IPP tender scheme for large-scale wind development in Ethiopia along with World Bank, IFC and other donors- Contribution to the Sino-Danish energy cooperation and China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC) on RE integration and RE support schemes- Danish American offshore wind cooperation on both Federal level (BOEM) and State level (NYSERDA, NJBPU, California Energy Commission, etc.)- Developing and implementing of a bank guaranty and energy saving award for energy efficiency projects for SMEs in Vietnam - Green Investment Facility (GIF)- Advice the Government of Ethiopia and Vietnam about integrating large amount of renewable energy in their power system including power market designs- Input to the Danish contribution to The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance as a guaranty system for energy efficiency projects in association with Inter-American Development Bank- The Centre cooperation with other climate investment organisation and investors like the Danish Climate Investment Fund, EKF, IFU and DSIF- Ad-hoc GtG wind power seminars and workshop in countries like Thailand, Tanzania, Ukraine, Colombia, etc.
