Co-FounderStac Technology - Sustainable Thermal Advance Cooling - Zero Carbon Emission Advanced Cooling Sep 2016 - PresentHellerup, Denmark, DkAT STAC Technology we make cold air from hot water with the help of our unique mini turbines offering a disruptive cooling solution that has been described as a Game Changer and a Key Enabling (Cooling) Technology improving the performance and adding environmental benefits to existing products/solutions in industries such as; HVACR, District Cooling/Heating, Marine, Energy and Renewables, Off-Grid installations, Utilities. USP (Unique Selling Proposition):HVACR: Retrofitting AC industry with No HFC's - our turbines use only plain water. When used in Air Condition applications we will re-use 85% of HVAC components/System. Saving 90-95% electricity. Reducing CO2 up to 85%. USP District Heating: Providing cooling on location where the need is. No need for heavy infra-structure investments in separate pipe-grid. Capable of connecting to the District Heating outlet on the location where the cooling is needed.Marine: STAC Technology's mini turbines will use waste heat from engine or other sources to make comfort cooling. Desalination and or heating up swimming pools to a constant temperature 24/7 on cruise ships are also possible solutions. www.stactechnology.com -

Chief Data OfficerStac Technology - Sustainable Thermal Advance Cooling - Zero Carbon Emission Advanced Cooling Feb 2020 - Mar 2023Hellerup, Denmark, DkCDO and Co-founder of STAC Technology, where we use Water-as-the-Refrigerant. Introducing such a novel and paradigm-shifting technology requires vast documentation and efficient data handling.I am using my huge experience with processing large amounts of advanced information to clearly present what is paramount. Besides being co-inventor of the technology, it is my responsibility to secure all documentation, know-how, and IP, hence preparing and enabling license sales. In the work with forming the IP strategy, it is vital that I have developed an R&D strategy feeding rapid results through the IP pathway matching up with the commercialization strategy of STAC Technology. As specific outcomes are Freedom-to-operate analysis and our data management plan.STAC Technology has attracted soft funding for our ground-breaking technology. Being the main author of the proposals, I will continue to use my creativity and technical excellence in the planned pathway of further attracting funding. Stakeholder management and strict documentation have mainly been focused on the interaction with public funds, patent progress, and certification services. I find it very interesting to link IP mapping and industry trends to the different applications of our technology. Thereby making a smooth and seamless connection between the technical details and our attractive value proposition. -

Technology Broker, Co-FounderCtb - Clean Tech Brokers Mar 2016 - PresentAt CTB Clean Tech Brokers we look at markets and we find the pains and challenges that needs to be overcome and we match them with inventions that never fulfilled their true potential and turn them into market fitting solutions. We break inventions apart, throw out what hasn't worked and we add new technology and/or materials. Customers validate our new applications early on in the process after which we find a sustainable business model that fit the market. The goal of every project is to end up with a cutting edge disruptive and sustainable technology and or product that can be spun-off in a new independent venture that we bring to market and eventually bring on a new management. The first spin-off company based on the above is already on its way: go meet www.stactechnology.comWe are experienced go-to-market strategists, practitioners and Academic subject matter experts with a "just do it" attitude shared with a global network of contacts enabling us to hit the market lightning fast.

Vp Of InnovationHeliac Feb 2015 - Feb 2016Nivå, DkHeliac is a start-up from 2014 developing and manufacturing a highly reflective and refractive polymer foil used for thermal applications related to CSP, concentrated solar power. As VP of Innovation I was responsible for the design of prototype units, R&D of entire systems, implementation of trackers including supply line setup. As part of EUDP funding I managed the design, build and installation of 36 kW CSP test plant. I was participating in the network building of global partners for supplies, development, and implementations.Furthermore, I was paramount in moving from a 1x1 cm2 prototype to a 12.5 km2 foil product. I was authoring applications for soft funding mostly on the Horizon 2020 platform, with multiple partner consortia. -
Senior Scientist/Associate ProfessorTechnical University Of Denmark Jul 2012 - Dec 2014Lyngby, Hovedstaden, DkI have been research project mangager within optical biosensing since 2006. I have managed the research team being between three to eight people. Optical biosensing based on Back-Scattering Interferometry (BSI) is my main area of research. I have covered all research aspects of BSI. This includes e.g. optical simulations of the phenomenon and signal processing. Having extensive clean-room experience I have developed the entire process of fabricating the injection molded microfluidic device used in BSI. I have applied the developed technology platform within diagnostics, pharmaceutical drug discovery and industial enzyme application. The detection scheme has been deployed for monitoring biomolecular interactions in free-solution and without labeling the molecules. I have shown excellent research as published in Science. The emphasis of my current work is on team management and innovation. A major achievement is to have designed and build a working prototype situated in the clinical biochemistry facility at Aalborg University Hospital.Initial test on free-solution enzymatic reactions in collaboration with Novozymes showed refractive index sensing can be used to measure the enzymatic phosphorylation of glucose to glucose-6-phosphate. -
Assistant ProfessorDtu Fotonik Jun 2009 - Jul 2012Kgs. Lyngby, DkCourses given at DTU:34047 Project in Optics and Photonics (master level) and 10380 Bio-medical Optics (PhD level)Courses at Lund University:Introduction to Physics (master level), per invitation of Prof. Stefan Anderson-Engells and Prof. Sune Svandberg (former Chair of Nobel Committee in Physics)Together with Peter Andersen, Niels B. Larsen, and Stefan Hell a concept was developed for an optical 3D-printer with the resolution in the few nanometer range. Conflicts of interest ended the effort. Stefan Hell was awarded the Noble Prize in Chemistry in 2014. -
Post.DocDtu Fotonik 2008 - Jun 2009Kgs. Lyngby, DkThe research conducted has lead to major commercial interest in the BSI sensor principle and different kind of activities has been undertaken to mature the technology. This involves presenting the business case based on BSI to potential customers, strategic partners, and investors. The free solution protein-protein interactions monitoring as valued information in the candidate selection in the very early stages of the drug discovery process. This is listed as 13 initial innovation events but not including follow-up and negotiation meetings. As most of the information from these meetings are considered confidential, the publication of technical breakthrough and know-how has been limited, since its appearance in Science in 2007.The firm Molecular Sensing Inc. (MSI) was founded on the basis this research. MSI has mostly functioned as a consultancy company for large pharma while developing an MVP to be installed at pharma. I continued refining the instrumentation achieving a 100-fold sensitivity increase and maintaining high accuracy and reproducibility (within 5 sigmas). I continued exploring parallel applications within clinical biochemistry and industrial enzymes. To further strengthen the innovation skills I explored several fast pathways like systematic innovation, learning planing and lean startup, being entirely customer focused. -
