The position involve the undertaking and coordinating a range of projects that contributed to the implementation of ALA’s strategic and operational plans, and business improvement activities.• Professional development and online learningResponsible for the development and administration of the online component of ALA’s professional development utilising webinars, including development and implementation of advertising strategy using ALA’s database, EDM’s, social media and networks.• Online publishingManagement of the production of ALA’s peer-reviewed Australian Journal of Adult Learning, published three times each year. Tasks included: liaison with Editor, contributing authors, desktop publisher and management of distribution process; proof reading; publishing to website.• Customer relations and membership supportSupporting ALA’s national membership and clients in providing a high standard of service by displaying friendly, responsive and effective communication to ensure members and clients receive accurate, consistent and timely information and assistance.• Digital communicationDeveloping and delivering external communications via website CMS (WordPress), email marketing (Campaign Monitor) and social media channels (Twitter and Facebook)• Grant Applications

Part of a small team that led GSK to embrace digital marketing across both Pharmaceutical and Consumer Healthcare business units. The team provided both strategic and tactical support to brand teams on digital marketing. Managed a large number of online projects working with cross-functional teams and external advertising agencies. Worked closely with the brand teams to extend the reach and coverage of their marketing activities through digital channels. Provided advice on digital strategy, analytics and implementation of best practice.Responsibilities included managing project team members and key stakeholders, budgets, quality assurance, deliverables, and client engagement and satisfaction. This position required very high level analytical and communication skills to enable me to work effectively with a range of clients and problem solve as issues arose.
