I study and analyse the plants production to find possible improvements and investment opportunities, carry out projects to reduce rework and inefficiencies trough the installation of new machinery, project, coordinate and execute many infrastructure projects ranging from new production and auxiliary equipment to the overhaul of the factory adjacent spaces.I also manage a team of highly skilled professionals and seek out ways to improve the working methodology and interoperability of the companies departments.

For my masters' thesis, I developed a Six Sigma project in a shipping port where I been applied several quality tools and helping to integrate continuous improvement principles into the company.With this goal in mind, I've developed innovative strategies and learned new skills such as web app development and port operations.

As President, having coordinated the update of several key aspects of the organization, I developed my leadership, project management and conflict resolution skills by a considerable amount.As Secretary, we oversaw the process of adapting the organization to the COVID-19 Pandemic and keeping it in proper operation during this challenging time.

The BEST Course Almada 2020 programme is one of about 90 BEST Course where students from all round Europe get the chance to learn about the host’s country, culture and learn about a certain topic. Organising this project will contribute to improving my leadership as well as time and project skills.Unfortunately due to the COVID pandemic, I wasn't able to put all the preparation to work during the BEST course. Nevertheless, the months of effort were very important to improve my leadership, project management skills. And also, having an event that I'd work so hard to put together cancelled also tested my emotional strength and made me wiser in many ways.

The Summer International Projects Forum is a chance that about 100 members of BEST get to plan the organization’s future. In 2019, I was the Main Organiser for SIPF Almada 2019 which heavily contributed to the development of my leadership and communication skills.

EBEC Almada is one of the local rounds of the EBEC Project, one of the biggest engineering competitions in Europe. As CR Responsible my duty is to coordinate contacts between the sponsoring companies and the Main Organiser of the event.
