As Head of Marketing at one of London’s premier jazz clubs, I lead strategic efforts to boost brand visibility, drive ticket sales, and engage a growing audience across multiple platforms. With a focus on live music events, I manage integrated marketing campaigns that connect artists with fans, elevating both individual performances and the broader venue profile.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:Social Media:- Managed Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, creating high-engagement content like artist interviews and performance highlights. - Grew Instagram followers by +70% since joining (now 6.5k) and increased organic website traffic by 55% over three months.Paid Advertising & SEO:- Led Google Ads and Meta campaigns, optimising spend through keyword analysis and performance monitoring. - Implemented SEO best practices to improve site visibility and organic search rankings, contributing to sustained growth in organic traffic.Email Marketing:- Created and distributed weekly newsletters to 10.5k subscribers (+75% growth), achieving an average 37% open rate.Offline Marketing:Designed and produced in-house event listings, posters, and brochures, supporting the club’s branding and promoting live music nights through printed media.

Event management: Over 500 diverse bookings annually across two floors.Programming: Source talent, and contact agents/artists directly.Notable bookings: J-Rod Sullivan, Gabriele Pribetti, Axel Kaner-Lidstrom, MADELEINE, The Sam Every Big Band, Omar Puente, Harry Ling, Hannah Horton, The Jazz Defenders, Donovan Haffer, Chiminyo amongst others. Artist liaison: Primary point of contact for all artists post-booking. Securing contracts, collating marketing materials, and creating website ticket links.

Stretch is a monthly improvised jam night, showcasing up and coming musicians on the jazz circuit.

The founder, producer, promoter and host of Groove Verse, an Improvised Jazz and Spoken Word show showcasing the best talent on the scene. The show aims to mainstream spoken word, but spotlighting the best of the best, and combining them with the best jammers on the circuit.

My role was to use audio, video, motion graphics to tell engaging stories with complex datasets and analytical insights into the media and entertainment industry.I also founded and produced The Amp, a podcast series covering the Media landscape.

Ampere is a market research and data analytics company specialising in streaming services, pay TV and next-generation content distribution with clients including major film studios, leading telecoms and pay TV operators, technology companies, TV channel groups and investment banks.My role as an Analyst primarily centred around the Streaming Video on Demand (SVoD) industry. Using data analysis to write and present insights into trends in content distribution, licensing deals, original productions, consumer behaviour and attitudes.
