My duties included coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of in-house apps. Identify IE6 legacy issues, resolving conflicts between development, support and the business side. Schedule and monitor the deployment of IE 7 via SMS 2003 software distribution to each office. I was responsible for the company wide login scripts, and assisted regional and local office IT staff for all their scripting needs. As 3rd tier desktop support, formulate day to day troubleshooting procedures and policies with 2nd and 1st tier. This included creating troubleshooting and diagnostic tools using VB scripting for various in-house application support groups such as Customer Support, Exchange Administration, and Litigation Support. Upgrade legacy Dewey Windows 2000 desktop with Lotus Notus to Windows XP with OutlookAs the Desktop Team Lead for London office move, and migration, my responsibilities included training the desktop migration team for imaging. Work with the London IT staff to identify and create software packages, script legacy macros with VB Script., and created the VB script for desktop profile setting backup and restore, customized for needs of each office.

Review and leverage Symantec Ghost Solutions, Power Quest Deploy toolkit utilities, PXE, VMWARE, SMS 2003 OSD, and Win PE (both SMS 2003 OSD and Bart’s) to improve and align existing imaging environment and image build process in preparation deployment for Windows XP Service Pack 2 roll-out. This includes hardware image consolidation, revising the image build process to be consistent and compatible with SMS 2003 OSD. Monitor daily SMS software distribution, and coordinate with 2nd level support to promptly resolve issues.
