As a junior at Indiana University, I aspire to earn a management degree in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs due to my love for sales and human interaction. My experience as a cashier, youth basketball coach, and food waiter, coupled with my drive from being a four-time varsity wrestler in high school, has equipped me with a diverse range of competencies, which are valuable skills in the management industry.My skills in financial management, accuracy, and attention to detail, which I honed as a cashier, are essential to the financial aspects of the real estate industry. In real estate, transactions involve large amounts of money, and it is crucial to handle financial matters with precision and accuracy. As a basketball coach, I developed skills in strategic planning and execution, which are also useful in real estate. Real estate transactions require meticulous planning and strategy, and it is essential to execute plans with precision to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Additionally, my ability to communicate effectively and lead a team as a basketball coach is also a valuable skill in the real estate industry, which involves working with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.Finally, my experience as a food waiter, where I learned to multitask, prioritize tasks, and efficiently manage time while delivering exceptional customer service, are transferable skills in real estate. As a real estate professional, multitasking and time management are crucial to balance various tasks and handle multiple clients effectively.
