- Played a key leadership role in integrating an IDX scrum team into ZeroFox Engineering technical and agile practices after ZeroFox acquired IDX in 2022. I took the initiative to mentor the IDX developers on my team as they ramped up and started work on the core ZeroFox platform. My team ultimately delivered the first IDX feature to be integrated into the larger ZeroFox platform, allowing ZeroFox enterprise customers to benefit from security features derived from the IDX platform.- Spearheaded the design of a microservice to integrate IDX’s PII removal service into the ZeroFox platform. This involved developing a robust workflow and architecture that included multiple consumer workers, a NoSQL database, and a lightweight API. I continued to maintain and monitor this service using Grafana dashboards and elk logging as it received and forwarded thousands of PII removal update messages daily for hundreds of customers.- Managed my team’s efforts to iterate on our agile processes. I provided a more strict “definition of done” after noticing miscommunication between our team and the business. I split our technical and sprint planning efforts into two meetings to increase our overall efficiency and output.

- Lead my team as a Scrum Master by managing team scrum processes, estimating milestone deadlines and communicating to cross-team stakeholders.- Built the architecture for a new project from scratch by writing Terraform to set up AWS resources, a Dockerfile for containerization, and nomad specs for orchestration.- Contributed to multiple Django APIs and Golang pub/sub pipelines, including an overhaul of the automated takedown system. Quickly onboarded on a new .NET tech stack for a recently acquired IDX platform.- Participated in Tech BU’s diversity guild, where we explored diversity initiatives, including a new internship program focused on hiring diverse, out-of-network college students to perform meaningful tasks.

- Wrote a Python script and modified Go data pipeline to store and retrieve encrypted message data from S3 buckets. This project gathered samples of content that would help other engineers develop analysis rules to detect harmful content.- Participated on the impersonations team where I helped maintain our content analysis pipeline.
