Since 2006 working on engagements for processes/techniques for knowledge sharing within complex projects. Executive-in-Residence and a Professor of Finance (Adjunct) at Johns Hopkins University, MBA Program (1,800+ students) for academic year 2003-04. Professor of Economics (Adjunct) at Brown University (2004-06). Former CEO of an Internet-enabled research company (1999-2002) based in London and staff of 100+ highly-trained engineers/MBA's/PhD's located in India (an early "KPO" business) and developed in 2003 an Internet-enabled systematic global information and knowledge process used to transfer tacit (vs. explicit) knowledge using externalization (particularly metaphors). Highly experienced at M&A (1979-89) and private equity (1989-2001) including activities with former business partner Ted Ammon (ex-KKR partner) at Chancery Lane LP (1995-2000).Early career work (1978-79) included projects at: Salomon Brothers (development and analysis of Treasury Futures (aka "the Derivative") for John Meriwether); and the Commodity Futures Institute (mathematical/concept development of the "Index Fund" for Prof. Frederick L.A. Grauer). Lived and worked in New York City (1974-95) and London (1996-2001). Taught advanced applied mathematics at Columbia (graduate level) and exempted from PhD requirement for teaching at MBA level. My wife is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and works at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
