Current- Lead mechanical engineer for under-ear headset.- Developing systems interface requirements using CREO top-down design skeleton methodology.- Developing robotic test fixtures using Fusion 360 for testing using stepper motors and 3D printed components to verify material performance claims by vendors.- Calculating tolerance stack ups to ensure part fits and critical dimensions for CREO skeleton interface.- Managing Bild PDM to ensure organization and vendors are utilizing the same design file versions.- Sourcing and managing manufacturers based on approved mechanical specifications.- Developing load and injection molding simulations from test data to reduce iteration cycles.- Design mechanical systems that can pass water seal and burst pressure tests.- Optimizing design geometries for ultrasonic sheer welding for DVT builds.- Identify and test critical datum dimensions to update mechanical skeleton for top-down design.- Writing design of experiments (DOE) for EVT feasibility and validation of injection molding and adhesive bonding processes.- Writing requests for quotations (RFQ) to quickly source suppliers and communicate design intents.
