My time as an apprentice fenestration surveyor has been learning specialised professional ways to assess and evaluate the design, installation, and maintenance of fenestration systems within buildings. Fenestration refers to the arrangement and design of windows, doors, and other openings in a building's envelope. It is known that these systems play a crucial role in determining a building's energy efficiency, comfort, and overall functionality. My role as a fenestration surveyor is pivotal in ensuring that these components meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and the specific needs of the building's occupants and or developers.I enjoy every minute in this industry because of the precise measurement needed to pass regulation and legislation which influence me to be on my toes and stay focused.I am looking forward to my future in this industry for many reasons but the one I speak about the most is that I don’t believe it is one that can be taken over by technology unlike many other industries in an ever growing digital world.

* Performing physical labor such as lifting, moving, and transporting materials.* Assisting with construction tasks like site preparation, and material handling.* Completing maintenance and repair work, such as basic carpentry and painting* Participating in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading goods.* Keeping work areas clean and organized by removing debris and disposing of waste.* Following safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.* Operating basic equipment like 1, 3 & 5 tonne dumpers, pallet jacks, or small construction machinery.* Working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to complete projects efficiently.* Driving company vehicles to transport materials, tools, or equipment as needed
