Utilized QGIS as both a data visualization and analytical tool.• Conducted web searches to collect, clean, and analyze quantitative information from a wide variety of open-source humanitarian databases. • Conducted original research demonstrating, in quantitative terms, the systemic use of sexual violence as a weapon of war in Darfur. • Conducted original research demonstrating a systemic link between Sudanese government arms purchases and increased violence against civilians.• Conducted original research on the state of the Sudanese economy using data from the World Bank, CEIC, XE.com, and eye-witness reporting from Radio Dabanga.• Conducted original research on the quantitative effect of the United Nations – African Union Hybrid Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) on violence against civilians. • Attended ICC Prosecutor's briefing to the UN Security Council in New York City, as well as private discussion between Prosecutor Bensouda and members of Darfuri civil society following the session.• Participated in a National Endowment for Democracy roundtable with a co-founder of the Darfur Bar Association.• Represented DWAG at inter-organization forums such as the Prevention and Protection Working Group, and the Washington Working Group on the International Criminal Court. • Graded legislators on voting behavior relating to legislation addressing the genocide in Darfur• Led legislative outreach regarding addressing the genocide in Darfur.
