Henry Gray has been carving stone since 1995. Trained as a Stonemason and worked at Salisbury Cathedral, and then worked for various masonry firms and construction companies including CWO, Minerva, Coe Stone, St Blase, and Wells Cathedral Masons. In 2012 Henry up Grays Stone Carving Studio in Wiltshire with the aim of creating and installing distinctive stonework and sculpture, suitable for both internal and external spaces. At GSCS he focuses on making bespoke memorials and Inscriptions for private clients and the military and also teaching stone carving.All work is hand-carved, and Henry works with people to enable them to create something whether its a memorial, house sign or carving.“Work can be a means of inquiry, one opportunity to watch ourselves flower into the moment”Specialties: Stone carving Lettercutting and teaching carving.
