Created a production dashboard to view and analyze rocket production data such as stock in the warehouse, daily assembly production, total rocket/pod production, monthly production goals and whether they are met, and quality notes on parts that need to be reworked. This set a precedent for data management in production and will be implemented into other Lockheed programs to increase ease of access for production data across all functions. I worked with Lockheed M&P (Materials and Processing) lab to generate a testing plan, identify the scope of testing, develop a testing schedule, find dates for testing, and bill the testing hours for a faulty part that was causing negative performance on our product. Created kickoff government work authorization meeting presentations, working closely with a PM advisor, propulsion engineering, and program planning. This gave me a great look at how government work authorizations work at LM and who is involved in those projects. Presented to USG program management and lead propulsion engineering the work authorizations and what kind of work they would include for government approval.

Worked in the Cummins New and Recon Parts sector as a product engineer intern on current and aftermarket product support, mainly for power systems such as generators, marine, rail, and other applications. Employed PTC Windchill skills daily to source parts and solve customer problems.Led a comprehensive design review, analyzing the geometrical and material properties of an engine component, as well as assisting in the manufacturer sourcing, allowing it to be available on the market to customers worldwide.Developed and implemented test plans for an ultrasonic axial deformation measurement device, using it on cylinder head bolts and documenting experimental vs actual axial deformation readings under specified clamp loads, and generated error sources that could lead to improper readings.Designed a website to consolidate resources such as websites, documentation tools, and help resources for Cummins engineers, increasing productivity and decreasing confusion in the workplace.

Worked under Assistant Professor Zheng Chen in his Engineering Control lab to develop a buoyancy device for a submersible robot that allowed for 3-dimensional depth control. Used Autodesk Inventor and rapid additive manufacturing to make an efficient and compact buoyancy device for the robotic fish. Implemented autonomous closed-loop PID control through Simulink programming to easily turn user input into the underwater depth of the robot.
