Henry Hernandez is the managing partner of Garcia Hernandez, P.A. He has represented individual and corporate clients throughout Florida, in State and Federal Courts, in matters including civil litigation, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, divorce and employment matters. Individuals and Corporations throughout Florida seek Henry’s representation to protect their legal and business interests. Henry has served as outside Counsel to the United States Department of Justice for the Southern and Middle District of Florida and has been approved outside legal counsel for the Miami Dade County School Board Attorney’s Office. Henry is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil and Family Mediator.Henry has appeared on countless local and nationally syndicated television and radio programs to provide insight and opinion into a wide array of legal matters.Henry was born and raised in New Jersey and lived there until he finished high school at St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City. His family then moved to South Florida where he completed undergraduate studies at Florida International University. He received his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. While in law school, Henry had the honor of serving as a summer law clerk for the Honorable A. Jay Cristol, then Chief Judge, of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida and for the Miami-Dade County School Board Attorney’s office.Henry is a member of the American Bar Association, Bankruptcy Bar Association and member of the Business Law, Family Law, Worker’s Compensation Law and Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar. Henry is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the largest voluntary bar association in Florida. Henry gives back to the community through participation in the Legal Aid, Put Something Back program, where he provides pro bono legal services.
