Successfully commissioned and start-up the CIP system for the Genentech ECP1 (E. Coli Production) plant in Singapore.Traveled to manufacturing facility to FAT two CIP skids built for the project.Worked with Genentech engineers in writing Functional Specification and design documents. Implemented the batch design codes on the DeltaV DCS platform for CIP, Media Prep, and Fixed and Portable tanksCreated a software utility that capture customer comments/design change in a Design document and transfer them into an Excel spreadsheet for tracking. This allows the automation engineer to spend more time on implementing code.

Worked on various DeltaV project for the Lilly PR6 facility.

1. Implemented process improvements on the DeltaV phase codes during commissioning and OQ.2. Write and update design and trace documents. Wrote test documents in compliance with GAMP for regulated and validated automated control systems.3. Upgraded faceplates, detail faceplates, dynamos and process graphics from Fix32 to iFIX on the DeltaV platform. 4. Successfully design, code, and commissioned the following process in the production of Biosynthetic Human Insulin: Reverse Phase Chromatography, Ultrafiltration, Crystalization and Vacuum shelf Dryer.5. Involved in all aspects of designing and implementing DeltaV code to systems based on standards and validation requirements. This includes developing standard library modules, faceplates, and dynamos. Also developed extensive batch code along with the recipes to run the phases.6. Created process simulations on the Mimic software from Mynam to aid debugging batch phase codes and for operator training.

Worked on the Wyeth's Grange Castle project in Ireland for the production of Embrel. Engineering and design was done at Emerson's Leicester office. Responsible for designing DeltaV phases for the Fermentation process.

Contracted out to Emerson to test the DeltaV control software. Specialized in testing the Redundant Controller, Serial Card communication, Continuous Control Blocks and Fixed32 graphics.Worked closely with software developers in writing test scripts that tests new functionality or features being implemented on DeltaV. Testing was carried out and any bugs found were immediately reported. Follow-up to make sure the reported problems are resolved before the DeltaV software is released.

Configured and implemented boiler control on the Honeywell TDC-3000 for Suncor Energy. Traveled to the oil sands in Ft. McMurray for commissioning and start-upWorked on pulp and paper projects at various British Columbia locations. Accomplishments include:- Design, code and implemented two pulp refiners.- Configured points, build graphics, wrote CL codes on the PM, APM, and AM modules on the Honeywell TDC3000.- Assisted in DCS/PLC loop checkouts and provided 24-hour coverage during start-ups.

Used ladder logic programming and the ControlView MMI software to develop an automatic steam injection pressing and data acquisition system. The system is being used by research scientists to study the effectiveness of using pressurized steam in shortening the press time of thick as well as thin wooden fiberboard.
