My responsibilities as an Operations Engineer in Apache's Legacy Asset Team is to improve production and reduce operating expenditures through a blend of production engineering techniques and field operation best practices. My specific duties included: assisting in daily operations, data analysis, and identifying areas that can be improved for increased productivity or operational efficiency.

- Provide on-site data analysis to ensure that the operator's design is being met and that the well is being treated as effectively as possible.- Make treatment recommendations based on the data received to maximize well potential and customer satisfaction.- Gained experience in running multiple fluid systems such as linear gel, crosslinked gel, & FR. - Learning operation time frames, procedures, and expectations of all parties involved in a hydraulic fracturing operation.

• Assisted on graduate research analyzing deflections in horizontal drill strings • Set up and operated small scale horizontal drilling rig simulation• Currently testing the possible application of a new oil field cement for improved zonal isolation and prevention of micro-annuli formed during hydraulic fracture treatments

• Gained valuable knowledge of daily operations on a drilling rig as part of the rig crew drilling 6 16,000’ laterals in the Eagle Ford• Worked as a floorhand making connections, throwing slips, throwing tongs, rigging up 3rd party equipment, performing nipple up/down on BOP, and tripping pipe• Assisted the derrickman with weighing the mud, monitoring and lining up the tanks, changing triplex liners and pop-offs, mixing mud additives, and preparing sweeps• Shadowed the Driller and learned tower well control procedures like slow pump rates and kick indicators• Gained 1st hand insight into the responsibilities of all crew on site including 3rd party positions (mud engineer, mud loggers, company men, directional, casing and cement crews)

• Set up and managed technical equipment for the mechanical engineering labs • Answered phones and performed daily office task to improve the efficiency of the office• Gained valuable machining experience on a mill and lathe creating lab test samples

• Making up commercial electric boxes and Troubleshooting both electrical and fire alarm cable• Working on large and small scale construction sites and Communicating with Foreman and GC’s over plans and change orders
