 Lead/coordinate efforts to strengthen program partner sites offer comprehensive integrated services  Lead collaboration across program technical teams to identify, analyse, formulate and implement activities to strengthen key systems in the private sector.  Lead mainstreaming & adoption of quality standards in the private health sector  Oversee all clinical support and training activities Oversee Program accreditation activities in the private health sector together with USAID/Uganda, the Ministry of Health and district governments  Work closely with the Grants and Subcontracts Management and Monitoring and Evaluation teams as required  Work closely with Insight Health Advisors staff to build the capacity of regulatory institutions (councils) to oversee private providers  Work closely with Business Strengthening Team and Banyan Global staff to achieve integration between the clinical and business strengthening objectives under PHS Program  Work closely and coordinate with Short Term Technical Assistance advisors on developing appropriate accreditation systems/schemes  Roll out an HMIS system, tools & Continuous Medical Education program, to be developed/adapted by IDI  Provide technical guidance to the PHPs in identifying evidence based approaches appropriate to improve performance and retention of the health work force in the private sector  Devise high quality operational research activities in key health themes within USAID/Uganda Private Health Support Program that lead to understanding of health systems in the private sector  Contribute to briefings, reports and presentations for USAID/Ugan

-Provide Strategic leadership and direction in line with the vision and mission of the hospital and Ankole Diocese-Proactively plan, evaluate, improve and manage Hospital programs to ensure that clients receive the best service at the Hospital and in communities in fulfillment of the Hospital vision and mission-Responsible for Human Resource Management-Managing hospital finances-Responsible for all logistical/procurement matters-Responsible for procedures for work standardization to ensure quality service for clients and a wealthy work environment for Hospital members of staff-Representing Hospital at different fora and maintain beneficial public relations and establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with the mother Diocese community groups, funders, politicians and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the hospital

 Develop/strengthen M&E systems for PMTCT/ART including design, review and dissemination of the tools and management of data  Write technical progress reports including annual PMTCT reports  Plan and coordinate the roll out of MoH trainings (IMAI/IMPAC training, PMTCT-EID strengthening (Option A) strategy, Option B+ training in the country) Conduct targeted and integrated technical support supervision on HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health to Districts and Health facilities Develop work plans and budgets for PMTCT and AIDS Control Programme and for Ministry of Health at large Participate in Policy formulation for various HIV/AIDS programmes, PMTCT & ART training package development and review  Provide guidance to districts in planning for HIV/AIDS services as well as reviewing the District work plans Participate in policy and annual report dissemination meetings and other fora such as National technical advisory and stake holders meetings and the sub-committees of the National PMTCT Advisory committee
