Nicaragua

In a three month internship in Nicaragua, I worked as a surf and lifestyle photographer. I was in charge of social media, daily surf photos of the guests and marketing pictures for the camp. My photography knowledge improved immensely, I also gained practice in organization, hospitality, sales and of course, surfing. Through dealing with the company’s Instagram I learned about branding and media, keeping in line with the identity of the camp.

Festivals (Various)

I worked at a number of different festivals including Glastonbury and Leeds doing various roles in all the events, including guarding roadblocks, patrolling camp sites and controlling large crowds of people. The shifts at this job were 12 hours long and sometimes involved night shifts.

Stockbridge, Hampshire

After completing my lifeguarding qualification I took on this job at the John Lewis Leckford estate as a pool lifeguard for the hotel. In this job I had many tasks such as setting up the pool area in the morning, checking for any hazards before letting anyone in the pool and preventing any incidents while the pool is in use. Working in a team of two other lifeguards we would need to organise our work schedule and give each other breaks when needed.
